The One Where The Gang Commits Myriad White Collar Crimes in Pursuit of Slack
I keep thinking about how to best automate my deadend support gig. I just paid for a month of GPT-4, and initially I was thinking of doing something like the following:
Work Question -> wormhole to mini
Mini -> GPT-4
GPT-4 -> wormhole to work laptop
Update ticket
???
Profit
This has the issue of being detectable to anyone bothering to check for wormhole, but I wonder if we could achieve the same thing locally with something like a keyboard duck?
Seems like the cheaper ones on Amazon (40 bucks or so) use the Espressoif ESP32 combined WiFI/BLE chip, and put out a local wireless network in order to work? My personal workstation is connecting to the internet over ethernet, but it does have a wireless card I could use to bridge the connection to chatGPT.
I ordered this one off of Amazon, since one of the comments seemed to indicate that it would work well with WHID:
I can’t connect to it cus the wifi is Locke the name the comes up is exploit anyone know the password
Lol. Lmao even. That’s the WHID one alright.
The trickiest part is going to be to properly enshittify the response so it’s not obviously the overworked product of an AI, that’s suspicious!
(Oh shit, it looks like even Premium has caps, 25 messages every three hours?) That’s not terrible, 8.3 queries an hour is still double what the best hourly throughput ought to be. <- This might be worth reworking to use the OpenAI API instead, since that’s going to be more flexible (and possibly more cost efficient?)
